Description

I'm thinking of using a cron job that fires off once a minute on the nodes and touches a file in /cluster, and then modify snarfhosts to pick up the files that have been changed in the past two minutes

Is ownership on $checkin being set properly?

perl chown is only numeric, so need to get nobody uid and nogroup gid
